Donaldsonville officials congratulate Ascension Catholic powerlifting team on fifth straight title

The City of Donaldsonville Mayor and Council honored the Ascension Catholic High School girls powerlifting team during the Tuesday, April 23, 2019 meeting.

The team won the Division V state powerlifting championship this season, marking the fifth straight title for the Bulldogs.

Nydia Cooper and Madison Tripode finished first in their classes. Miranda Landry, MacKenzie Marroy, and Ceily Grisaffe each took second in their classes.
